Audio Compact Cassette to CD Copying (Transfer)

We offer Jupiter Cassette to CD Copying locally to our Jupiter neighbors who would like to drop off cassettes at our office for transfer to CD.

PRICING:  The price is $20 per 30 minute side for a straight transfer to Compact Disk (in .MPG format which plays on MS Windows Media Player and most CD players).  CD included.

Why would you want to copy your audio cassettes to Compact Disk (CD)?

• Making the transfer from older audio cassettes to CD is a move in the right direction as magnetic tape can easily be damaged from the Florida humidity, heat, and age.  These factors decrease audio quality.
• Each time you play an audio cassette, you lose audio quality.  Even when your cassette tape is left in a box over time, the magnetic tape collects particles, moisture, or even cracks from too dry temperatures. and ultimately audio quality decreases due to age.
• Transferring audio cassette tapes to CD extends the life of your audio cassettes - DVD engineers estimate that DVD audio/visual quality is expected to last approximately 100 years!  Of course, you must remember that even the sleeves that DVDs and CDs are stored in can produce micro-scratches.
• Transferring your Audiio Cassettes to CD will allow access to your family or personal audio recordings  by a CD player, which most households now own.  After the transfer, you can "toss" the old audio cassettes and save some valuable space in your closet!

 What transferring Audio Cassettes to CD does not do:

• Give you better audio quality.  Again, the transfer is direct.  Your DVD will have the same audio quality as the original.
